Resurfacing simply means installing new asphalt over the existing asphalt. Resurfacing extends the life expectancy of your asphalt pavement without the need to completely remove the structure of the asphalt. It is less expensive as fewer materials and machinery are required for the resurfacing. Prior to the installation of the new asphalt, the cracks and wears on the old pavement are repaired. 

 Patching is a great solution when only small areas of asphalt need to be replaced. We will neatly cut out damaged areas of asphalt and remove the unstable base materials. We put down a new base and smooth asphalt. This allows us to fix the damaged area delaying the expense of a total asphalt replacement.

The process for pothole repair starts with identifying the pothole and cutting it into a square or round shape. After the pothole has been shaped, fixing the pothole can begin. Asphalt will then begin to be filled in and compacted down. 

Using asphalt sealer is the best way to extend the life of asphalt, specifically in high-traffic areas where wear and tear exposes the aggregate stone. New asphalt should be seal coated between six months and one year after installation; all asphalt should be re-sealed every two to three years to reduce surface deterioration.

Crack filling is a repair solution for non-working cracks in asphalt. The materials included are liquid asphalt, asphalt emulsions, and cutbacks. It is a temporary repair that involves injecting a hot sealant to fill the crack.
